Deadwood 2020 Virtual Con FAQ
How can I access the conference?
You should receive links to access the conference, especially tracks one and two, via email.
What is Discord?
Discord is an online chatroom platform. At this year’s Wild West Hackin’ Fest, conference attendees can interact with presenters, other attendees, and sponsors on Discord.
How can I access the conference Discord channel?
You will receive a link to the conference Discord channel via email.
How do I get a question to the presenters?
Please post relevant and on topic questions you would like considered for answering by the presenters to the GoToWebinar question area. Please keep chatter off this channel as you will DOS our support staff. General chatter and things you need to be answered by the community can be posted on the Discord channel. This will really help us serve you. Please make your questions as clear and complete as you can. The support staff will likely just delete questions they see as off-topic, difficult, or tough to squeeze in to keep our focus on the webcast. If that happens, consider mirroring your question on Discord.
Will you make recordings of the conference presentations available after the conference?
Yes. Conference attendees will get priority access to the presentation recordings. After a period of time, the general public will get access to the conference presentation recordings.
When will my swag bag arrive?
If you bought your ticket prior to September 11, your swag bag should arrive before the conference. Please contact thedeputy [at] wildwesthackinfest.com with any questions related to your swag bag.
What should I do if I have special accessibility needs?
If you have any special accessibility needs, please let us know at email@example.com before the conference and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Will I get a certificate or something that I can use for CPEs?
Yes. We will post a CPE certificate in Discord. You will have to manually log your hours with third-party organizations that accept CPEs.
