Wild West Hackin’ Fest – Deadwood 2022 – COVID-19 Statement
Greetings,
We’re looking forward to having another conference in Deadwood where people can attend in person. Nevertheless, everyone in attendance must take the proper precautions in order to ensure that this event happens responsibly. If you plan to attend, we ask that you:
- Please consider wearing a mask if you’re unvaccinated. Masks will not be provided at the conference venue.
- Please remain at home if you do not feel well or if you show any signs of having COVID-19.
Wild West Hackin’ Fest strongly recommends that attendees receive vaccinations.
At Wild West Hackin’ Fest, we realize that not everyone can or will want to attend this event in person. That is understandable. Thus, attendees will have the option to attend the conference virtually.
At the virtual conference:
- You’ll get to watch the same awesome talks.
- You’ll get to interact with the same speakers and with other virtual attendees via Discord.
- You’ll get the same awesome swag bag that everyone else at the in-person conference gets.
Please know that conference organizers for this event will strive to be prudent and to exercise caution. Please help us to make this conference reasonably safe for all those involved. And finally, whether you attend in person or virtually, please, please, please… enjoy this conference. We plan to.
Sincerely,
Wild West Hackin’ Fest
