Visitor Information

Here are some of the details you may need as you make your travel plans.

Airport: Rapid City Regional (RAP)

Transportation: Airport is about an hour away from Deadwood, renting a car is probably the best option as there is lots to see in a short distance of Deadwood and driving around the Black Hills is truly wonderful!

Main Hotel (Conference Hotel): The Lodge at Deadwood
Phone number: (605) 584-4800
You need to call to get a room in our reserved block. There is a trolly that runs from the Lodge around Deadwood for easy access to downtown Deadwood as this hotel is slightly (un-walkably) away from Deadwood main street.

Other Lodging: The Grand – not the conference hotel but you can easily walk across the street to Main Street. So if you want to be more where the action is at night this may be a better option for you. We also have a few rooms in a block here. Call to reserve.
Phone number: (605) 559-0386

This is a tourist town so there are many other places to stay in Deadwood.  Lead (10-15 min drive) and Spearfish (20-30 min drive) may be slightly cheaper and are close enough to be an easy commute if you rented a car.
